Do a search for green leaf bug and you will find many many many photos of this very same little chick/dude. I have no idea why this lovely creature came to land and stay on our deck all day today, but it’s a nice change of scenery.

After watching Alice in Wonderland and the extras I had an urge to draw a bit of something on my face. One of the make up artists said if you put her in a room all day just making people up to look like different things she would be happy.I have done some face painting and I agree. I just got the eye liner out and made two little scribble lines, but the fun was there none the less.

For some reason my husband said I looked like Alice Cooper. I'm not sure if he's ever seen Alice Cooper, but let's just say I don't see the resemblance. The make up is a lot darker than it looks in the photo, but pretty close

That mirror DOES NOT look that dusting in real life. Trust me.
