A few pieces of wire twisted and painted black. It’s the shape of a video game console controller to honor my sweet husband who has his hands on that thing more than on my own personal buttons….so if you can’t beat’em, join’em

The day started with pancakes. You can’t go wrong there! I had worked all night but the fun of the goodies in a basket breathed new life into my day. There were twisty balloons, sidewalk chalk, bubble blowing gadget, Bugles, M&M’s, camouflaged eggs, rechargeable batteries, and lots more.

I spent the day with my  12 year old nephew who made me laugh so much my face hurts (I know, it’s killin’ you!!) Between the kicking around of the glow-in-the-dark soccer ball, playing catch with the glow-in-the-dark basketball, blowing bubbles in the 45 degree day, playing “keep the balloon in the air” with the hallway as our playing field, and a few other assorted activities that had to do with twisty balloon sword fighting, funny hats, posing for silly photos, drawing a big chalk love note to my husband outside our 2nd story office window on the driveway…etc…at about 30 hours of being awake I’m pooped! It was awesome!
