Thursday Sweet Treat
I was lucky to find a great project happening every week out here in ye olde cyberspace. It’s called Thursday Sweet Treat and it’s a fun way to do a new art, creative project each week with a set theme. It is the creation of NatasiaDoodle, a self described mother, singer, artist, and more.
It’s another very cool example of someone making the effort to bring the artist community together. I’ll tell ya, it looks to me like it takes a lot of hard work, a LOT of time, research. It just shows me, once again, you don’t have to be a part of a big company or wait for someone else to come up with a great idea for you to simply tag on to, you can make the effort and bring your own ideas to the world and see what happens.
As for the challenge, I barely squeaked by the color theme. Color’s not my thing (yet). This week;s theme is something I am stewing in my mind to come up with an idea. “Let Beauty Rain Down Upon…” It can be interpreted anyway you want, and I’m not sure if I”m feeling literal or esoteric. We shall see when the pen hits the paper.
